A landing page quote is usually the shortest document an agency writes, and it hides the most. One page sounds simple. But the price depends on things the quote often does not mention.
What moves the price
- Copy. A page lives or dies on its words. Someone has to write them, and someone has to know the offer well enough to make them specific.
- Custom design or template. A template is faster and cheaper. It is often enough. A custom design is worth paying for when the brand or the offer needs something a template cannot say.
- Length and sections. Long pages with many proof points, videos and an explanation of a complex offer take longer than a short page for a simple offer.
- The form and what it connects to. A form that emails an inbox is simple. One that writes to a spreadsheet, a CRM, sends a WhatsApp message and triggers a confirmation takes real work.
- Tracking. Recording form fills, calls and WhatsApp taps, and passing them to the ad platforms.
- Variants. Testing two versions of a page means building and measuring two.
- Revisions. The number of rounds included. Extra rounds are where budgets quietly grow.
- Hosting and domain. Included, or your job.
When a template is enough
If you are testing an offer for the first time, a well-written page on a clean template is a sensible start. You learn whether anyone wants the offer before you invest in a custom design. Rebuild once you have evidence.
An example of fixed scope
Fixed-scope packages show how much of a price is about clarity. Our own Medora doctor website is sold that way. At the time of writing (September 2026), the Medora page lists a flat price of Rs 30,000 as a founder offer for the first 100 customers, and Rs 60,000 afterwards. That covers 15 pages, one year of hosting and domain, two free revisions and delivery in 7 working days, and it works because the scope is fixed. Check the Medora page for current terms, since offers change. A landing page for an ad campaign has a different scope, but the principle carries over: the clearer the scope, the clearer the price.
The cost of a page that does not convert
Compare the page with the ad budget that will send people to it. A page that costs less than a month of ad spend and lifts the share of visitors who enquire pays for itself quickly. A cheap page that leaks turns every rupee of ad spend into a smaller return. That is why we prefer to decide the structure first and quote after.
Three scenarios and what each needs
| Scenario | A sensible build | Where the cost concentrates |
|---|---|---|
| Testing a new offer with a small campaign | Template page, short copy, simple form and tracking | The copy |
| A retreat or workshop with a ticketed date | A custom page with schedule, place, inclusions and booking | Content gathering and photography |
| A recurring service with heavy paid traffic | A tested page, variants for different audiences and integrated tracking | Testing and ongoing changes |
When custom copy and photography earn their cost
If the offer is expensive, personal or unusual, the words and pictures carry the sale. Stock photographs and generic copy signal a business that does not care. In those cases, paying for a writer who understands the offer and a photographer who understands the place is not a luxury. It is the difference between a page people believe and one they leave.
What to get in writing
- Who writes the copy.
- How many design and revision rounds are included.
- Which integrations and tracking events are included.
- Whether hosting, domain and forms are yours or the agency’s.
- What happens after launch if something breaks.
